WaterBlock Systems can be easily installed in existing or new construction.
The WaterBlock electric valve should be installed just after the existing shut-off valve on your main water line. However, if your existing shut-off valve is outside of the house or building, the WaterBlock should be installed on the main water line immediately after it enters the dwelling through a floor or wall.
We recommend that the WaterBlock valve be installed by a certified professional plumber and in accordance with all local plumbing codes. Please read the Owner's Manual and Installation Instructions carefully prior to installing, testing, and operating your waterblock system.
WaterBlock Sensor Placement.
When placing the sensors in the areas that you would like to monitor (washing machines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, toilets, ice makers, etc.) make sure that the sensor probe is placed flat on the floor in an area where leaking water will accumulate at the earliest stages of the leak.
